| Cruise - Day Two Cabo San Lucas ![]() We are getting close to Cabo San Lucas when Casa Bonita Alba is in sight. It looks like quite the resort but that is not where we are headed today. The ship is anchored out a ways. This is one active area. There are three cruise ships, numerous sport fishing and other charter boats. Lots of things to do here and not much time. The ship is only in for four or five hours. We opted to take a tour. Tip #4. Tours Sign up for any tours you wish to take as soon as possible. A lot of these tours have size and space limits. They sell out early. If I was to do this again, the first thing I would do is head directly to the tours desk once I got on board. Don't Procrastinate on this one. ![]() What did we opt for? Snorkeling. ![]() Debbie and Jeff discussing snorkeling strategy. Jeff bought an underwater camera and these are some of the pictures he took. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Not bad at all for the first time with a new camera. This one would make a nice jigsaw puzzle. ![]() Martinis, beer and fresh made salsa were plentiful on the trip back. ![]() The hilight was three college students who decided to have a chilli eating contest. Each grabbed a mouthful of fresh-cut Serrano chillis thinking they were Jalapenos, and the results. The guy making the salsa tried to warn them...... ![]() We saw a number of whales this trip. Some charters allow you to get quite close. ![]() I got a picture of part of a whale. ![]() The way back presented some nice pictures. This is a famous formation. Can't remember the name, of course. ![]() There were a lot of seals out here. This is a famous formation too. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Back in the harbor there are tons of pelicans and an opportunity to do some brief shopping before heading back to the ship. ![]() ![]()
