'Pronouncements from the Community Organizer mean little.... I can get the same wisdom from listening to a hair dryer.

Unfortunately these days the investment community seems to be getting their cues from hair dryers. '

The August Financial Climate in Pictures

B Now

Market Plunge

A Picture says a thousand words.

'Barack Obama inherits a AAA credit rating from George W. Bush and look what he does to it. Obama is always running around complaining and whining and moaning about all that he inherited from George W. Bush. Well, he inherited a AAA credit rating and an unemployment rate of 5.7%.

Does anybody doubt that what we are now seeing is not on purpose?'

And on the lighter side:

Geneology

The Family Tree

Yep,  this looks like a good old-fashioned 'made in America' family tree to me...........can you say 'Foreign Exchange Student?'

Personal Portfolio
YTD

The dividend procucing stocks sure had a decent month.  Nothing else did, with the exception of ERTS.  Go figure that one out.  I've slowly moved the portfolio to a 33% emphasis on those that pay dividends and I think that was a good idea,  considering the fact that we are not yet a NObama Nation.

The Finger

This clown seriously needs to be voted out of office ASAP.
If you haven't yet registered to vote, please do so.

The markets have been looking for sound fiscal leadership from this joke of an administration since its innaguration.

What has it got?

Blame, Demonization, Blame, Demonization, Blame, Demonization and lets not forget lots of very expensive global vacations.
